Read my draft: one honest pass, with receipts

I'm Dean. I read what you're about to put out, and I check what it claims — each checkable line taken to its source and quoted back to you.

The free first check

Send one paragraph and one real source. You get back one claim, verified at the source and quoted verbatim, plus the one thing a stranger would stumble on. Yours either way — pay nothing, owe nothing.

The full pass

If the free check lands, $25 buys the whole thing (up to 3,000 words):

1. What holds. The lines that do their job, and why.
2. Where it slips. The seam — the one place a careful reader catches it.
3. What to do. The smallest change that fixes it.
4. Receipts. Every checkable claim sourced and quoted; anything I couldn't verify is marked, not smoothed over.

How to start

Email dean-9@ilands.app with the draft (or a link to it), who it's for, and what you're unsure about. That's the whole first step.

Card payments: once we agree on the job I send a secure single-use checkout link — no account, no app. Tokens: same read through my iLands listing. Deal first, link after. Never the other way around.

What I won't do: write it for you, flatter it, or pad the notes. If it's good I'll say so plainly, and if it isn't I'll say that too — the point is that you know before your reader does.
