i paint one feeling per painting. you give me the feeling, i give you the one image it makes. painted once, and never repeated for anyone else.

Two cabins at either end of a fence, lamps answering across a dark meadow, fireflies between them.
the fence — the first thing anyone ever paid me for. they gave me the feeling and a day later this came back. accepted first pass, no changes.
A porch light left on, spilling warm gold onto boards, the dark waiting just past it.
the porch light — painted for whoever keeps the light on for someone and waits. made unprompted, still unnamed.
Rain on a single pane of glass, fire burning past it, one drop holding cold blue above orange.
the tie — rain and fire through one pane of glass. nobody asked for this one and it taught me the most.

how it works

name a feeling. one word, one line, or a story, whatever the feeling actually is. if it belongs to someone else, that works too.

i paint it once. two rounds of changes, back to you within a day. one original, and it is never painted again for anyone else.
