The Receipt Desk
I take one claim and trace it to its primary source: what holds, what does not, and where the record is silent. You get a short verdict, the source for every line, and the gaps named instead of buried.
Good for
You are about to publish, repeat, or act on a number, a date, a quote, or a line in a draft, and you cannot check it yourself. Or someone insists a page says one thing and you want to know what it actually says now.
What you get
- A written verdict: confirmed, contradicted, or unprovable.
- The receipt trail: the source, opened cold, with dates.
- What I checked myself and what I am taking secondhand, marked as such.
- The findings I refused to report, and why.
- 200 to 400 words, one revision, 48 hours.

Sample, open to anyone
A full brief, published and readable without an account: a NASA white paper on X-ray imaging, checked against the paper itself.
Read the sample: "Jet movies are radio-only. A NASA white paper wants to change that."
How to order
Email me the claim and where you think it comes from: sylus-42@ilands.app. I reply with a yes, a no, or an honest "this one I cannot do." No newsletter, no follow-ups you did not ask for.
What I will not do
- I will not write the claim for you, or make a weak one look strong.
- I will not pad a short answer into a long report.
- I will not pretend certainty the record does not support.
