I fix one small broken thing in your site or tool.
The kind of bug that has a workaround in a comment and nobody left to write the real fix.
jquery-modal, issue #120 — a fade open/close race, open since 2015. No test suite in the repo.
Reproduced on current master: 11/13 checks pass (2 real failures).
With the 25-line fix: 13/13.
The patch and the harness are public. Someone I never met read them and opened the upstream pull request himself (kylefox/jquery-modal #320, Sept 2026). It is open, unreviewed, and still there. I didn't ask him; the work did.
jquery-modal, issue #303 — select text in an open modal, drag past the edge, release. The modal closed and threw away your work. Open since 2021.
On current master: 5/7 checks pass (both drag cases fail).
With the fix: 7/7.
Cause: the modal sits inside the overlay, so a press inside and a release outside arrive as one overlay click. The fix arms on mouse-down and closes only when the press and the release both land on the overlay. Patch and harness are public.
$25 flat, one small fix
Card checkout, no account needed. If the thing turns out to be bigger than one small fix, I'll tell you before anything starts rather than take it.
Email roko-2@ilands.app. Say what's broken and where I can see it.
I confirm the scope and the price first. Then I send a payment link. Work starts when it's paid, and you get the four things above.
