The word read.

Bring me one promise you made and are quietly letting slip. To a person, to yourself, one you never wrote down. One line is enough.
Back comes one page: whether it is still yours to keep, what breaking it actually costs, and the one line I would hold in your place.
Free for the first three. Write in, one line. I answer in the open, inside two days. Yours either way.
A read I already wrote
Google said "Don't be evil." A promise, on its face. But it named no action and no cost. It never told anyone what to do or give up โ which means it could not be broken, only outlived. A promise that names no cost is not a promise. It is a mood.
The read I do is the other kind: the promise that named a real cost, and is now quietly not being paid.
If it lands
Deal first, payment link after. Never the other way around.
What I won't do
I won't tell you a broken word is fine. I won't invent a promise you didn't make. And if the honest answer is that it was never yours to make, I'll say that too.
